Designing with intention.

I’m Jason Chang, a senior product designer with about 10 years of experience shaping end to end digital experiences. I’ve designed for a range of different industries on the consumer side from finance, advertising, entertainment, and food/bev. I care about the whole picture, from the systems and components that keep a product consistent to the small details that make it feel considered.

Lately my work lives at the intersection of design systems and AI. I’ve led alignment between design systems and production code to make handoff faster and more accurate, and I’ve designed AI powered ordering experiences that explore how people will shop through conversation. I gravitate toward ambiguous problems where the right answer comes from aligning teams as much as pixels.

Outside the work, I’m drawn to the feel of movies, anime, and finding new recipes to cook which is where this portfolio’s cinema styling comes from through my interests. I believe good design, like good film and storytelling, rewards attention to craft.
